Due to the ongoing stir in Punjab Congress, there is panic in the whole politics. While someone is questioning the Congress leadership, someone is taking a dig at Sidhu and the Captain. Congress General Secretary and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat, while interacting with the media on Friday, targeted the BJP government at the Center over the turmoil in the Punjab Congress. He warned Capt Amarinder Singh not to become a mask of BJP.
On the tussle between Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Navjot Singh Sidhu, he said that some solution will be found to the problem and talks between the two leaders have progressed in a positive manner. Rawat cautioned Amarinder Singh not to become a mask of the BJP.
He also said that he was shocked by the Captain’s statement in which he spoke of his ‘insult’. “It was expected from Amarinder Singh that he would give strength to Congress and Sonia ji in challenging times,” he said. However, when asked whether the Congress would make any effort to bring back Amarinder Singh, Rawat refused to comment on the issue.
