The United Kisan Morcha will hold large meetings on the borders of Delhi on November 26, on the completion of one year of the movement. Every day 500 tractor farmers will march to the Parliament when the winter session of Parliament begins from November 29. Further programs were decided in the meeting held on Tuesday at Singhu border.
In the meeting of the Morcha, which lasted for about two hours, the farmer leaders insisted on making the movement aggressive. Senior leaders continued to agree to run the movement peacefully and with discipline.
Even the ultimatum of the Delhi march given by farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was not agreed upon. Similarly, the proposal of Gurnam Singh Chaduni’s journey to Delhi and the Kundli Manesar-Palwal Expressway jam of the farmers’ leaders of Punjab has also been put on hold for the time being.
