We are unhappy with your action, why not arrest in the murder case; SC

In the Lakhimpur Kheri incident of Uttar Pradesh, the case of killing eight people, including four farmers, was heard in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court expressed displeasure with the action of the UP government on the Lakhimpur incident and the Supreme Court said that it is not satisfied with the steps taken by the Uttar Pradesh government in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.

The Supreme Court questioned the Uttar Pradesh government for not arresting the accused against whom an FIR has been registered in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case and asked what message you are giving. Harish Salve, who is fighting the case in the Supreme Court on behalf of the UP government, told the court that accused Ashish Mishra will appear before the crime branch tomorrow at 11 am.

The Supreme Court said that it is not satisfied with the steps taken by the Uttar Pradesh government in the investigation of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. The Supreme Court questioned the Uttar Pradesh government for not arresting the accused against whom an FIR has been registered in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case and asked what message you are giving.

The court further said that it is hopeful that the UP government will take necessary steps keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter. The Supreme Court got angry when the accused Ashish Mishra was not arrested and asked why he was not arrested.
