Supreme Court reprimands Center for bad air in Delhi

The Supreme Court has slammed the government for the poisonous air of Delhi day by day. Justice NV Ramana was hearing a petition on the issue of air pollution in Delhi. He reprimanded the government and said that you are seeing how serious the situation is. We are roaming around in our homes with masks on.

The Supreme Court has also questioned the opening of schools in Delhi. He has asked the administration to take necessary steps immediately. Such as stopping vehicles and imposing lockdown in Delhi.

The government assured the Supreme Court that they were taking steps to stop the burning of stubble. The government said that the pollution we have seen in the last five-six days is due to stubble burning in Punjab. State governments need to expedite their work. The stubble is still being burnt in the fields.
