There has been an atmosphere of fear among the minorities of the Union Territory due to the increase in terrorist attacks on non-Muslims in the Kashmir Valley in the last few days. On the one hand, the Center and the Jammu and Kashmir government are talking about settling the displaced, but due to the new wave of terror, the migration has started again.
Panicked by attacks on teachers and even businessmen, Sikhs and Kashmiri Pandit communities are returning to Jammu, which is dominated by non-Muslims. Other government employees, including teachers, are returning to Jammu and some have demanded transfer outside the Valley. Apart from this, many are not coming to work due to increasing security concerns.
In order to remove the fear of terrorists from the minds of non-Muslims, the government has given them 10 days leave while applying ointment on their wounds. Official sources said on Saturday that Kashmiri Pandits and all other non-Muslim government employees in Jammu and Kashmir have been granted official leave for 10 consecutive days from Friday.
